Kenley, Garnett Allen

Garnett Allen Kenley, 96, departed this life for a better one in Heaven on February 26, 2008, in Radford, Va.

Garnett is survived by his wife, Anna Kenley; son and daughterin-law, Allen Lee and Myrtle Kenley; grandson and wife, William and Carole Kenley; great-grandchildren, Jack and Grace Kenley; grandson and wife, Rodney and Vicki Kenley; great-grandchild, April Kenley; sister-in-law, Edith Kenley; many loving nieces and nephews; special and loving stepchildren, Vanessa and Eugene Gouley, Rosalie and Frank Hodges, Michael and Merrilee York, Steve and Tina York and Sue McCauley; ten stepgrandchildren; and 16 stepgreat grandchildren.

Services will be performed by Rev. Ernest Chinault. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to New River Baptist Temple, 7043 Warden Court, Radford, Va. 24141. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 29, 2008, at the New River Baptist Temple. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time on Friday at the church. DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford is handling the arrangements.
