Kenley, Edith Hylton

Edith Hylton Kenley, 99, of Radford went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2018. She was a long time member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Kenley; son Clarence Kenley; daughter-in-law, Barbara J. Kenley; and grandson, John Bobbit.

Edith is survived by her children, Kenneth F. Kenley and wife, Barbara L. of Radford, Jerry Kenley of Rocky Gap, Brenda K. Luz and husband, George of Radford, and Betty K. Bobbit of Radford; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren;sister, Virginia H. Roop daughter-in-law, Joan Kenley; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Intrepid Hospice and their mother’s personal caregivers, Karen Whitesail and Joan Carter for their love and care.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 10 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
