kellison_charlotte_jeanCharlotte Jean Kellison, 72, of Main Street, Narrows, departed this life Saturday morning, June 11, 2016 at her home. Born on July 29, 1943 in Bland County, she was a daughter of the late William E Havens and Anna Kate Ramsey Havens Spicer.

Charlotte worked at Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg for over twenty-five years, was devoted to her faith in Christ as a Christian, and opened her heart to everyone around her that she could help, putting others before herself, and was known as a “prayer warrior”. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ross, William and Wallace Stowers, her sister Ola Bell Havens, and her grandson Michael Mabry.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of fifty-eight years Frank Markwood Kellsison, Jr (They were completely devoted to each other since their teen years and looked forward to continuing their love in Heaven.); her daughter Sherry Mabry of Riverview, FL (and her love the late David Wayne Blankenship); her sons and daughters-in-law Ricky Havens (Jackie) of Pilot, Frankie Kellison of Radford, Steven Kellison of Narrows, Mark Kellison (Tammy) of Narrows; her brothers William E Havens Jr. (Alison) of Newport News and Donnie L Havens (Patricia) of Narrows; her grandchildren Brandon Havens, Dominick Havens, Cordell Havens McKinzie Kellison, Trista Peterson (Derrick), Tanisha Mabry, Lindsey Kellison, Amanda Lockridge (Josh) Loren Brook Kellison; her great-grandchildren Madison Peterson, Ava Peterson, Malayah Holton, Evey Rose Lockridge, Alivia Pennington; and her life-long friend Martha Griggs of Pearisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in Cedar Grove Cemetery on Burton Road near Narrows.
