Kelley Jr., John Thomas

John Thomas Kelley Jr., 83, of Draper, Va., completed his earthly journey on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at Radford Nursing and Rahabilitation Center. He was born on October 13, 1931 in Pulaski County, Va., to the late John Thomas Kelley Sr. and Anna Calfee Kelley. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Jane Wood Kelley; and his brother, Joseph Francis Kelley.

His immediate surviving family members are daughter, Cynthia Hancock and husband, Sam, of Draper; daughter, Ann Willis and husband, Jeff, of Pulaski; son, John Thomas Kelly III and wife, Lisa of Long Island, Va.; daughter, Mary Gates and husband, Bob, of Radford; and four grandchildren, Kelly Gates, Riley Gates, Ben Kelley and Lydia Kelley.

A Graveside Service will be conducted by Roland Mathews at 4 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2014, at the Draper’s Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 2755 Old Baltimore Road, Draper, VA 24324. The family will receive friends following the burial in the church fellowship hall until 7 p.m.
