Keith, Lester Michael

Lester Michael (Mike) Keith, 61, of Floyd, went to be at peace on June 6, 2008. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #127. He was a member of the Floyd County High School class of 1964 and a graduate of Danville Technical School.

Mike was preceded in death by the parents who raised him, Kerry and Bula Keith, and also his brother, Dwight Hopper.

He is survived by a daughter, Emily Huff and her husband, Matt; and a son, Robbie Keith. He is also survived by his mother, Iva Tolbert; his sister, Mary Tolbert and her husband, Steve; his brother, Robert Hopper and his wife, Wanda; his sister, Teresa Hatcher and her husband, Sanford. Other special siblings include Elmer Keith, Edna Weddle, Shirley Duncan and husband, Ralph, Peggy Bishop and James Keith and wife, Doreda.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2008, at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ralph Duncan and Pastor Angela Carr officiating. Interment to follow at Topeco Cemetery with Military Rites by Floyd V.F.W. Post #7854 and American Legion Post #127.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
