Karwowski, Raymond Matthew

Raymond Matthew Karwowski, 67, of Narrows passed away Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 5th, 1945, and was the son of the late Casimier and Jeanette Nividzski Karwowski. Raymond served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved fishing and crabbing, but passionately loved and cared for his family. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Heather Karwowski and partner Jeff Lynch of Dunbar, West Virginia, Julianne Karwowski and partner John Devine of Peterstown; four grandchildren, Melissa Fuller, Susan Fuller, Raymond Fuller and Leah Lynch; two brothers, Robert Karwowski and wife Ann, and Ronald Karwowski and wife Edith, all of Philadelphia; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends. At Raymond’s request, he will be cremated, with burial to follow in Philadelphia at a later date.
