Karsa, Virginia Helen

Virginia Helen Karsa, 93, of Blacksburg and Lake Station, Ind., passed away November 14, 2012, in the care of her family. She was born in Gary, Ind., to the late Katherine and Klemenz Krusa. She was preceded by her husband, Peter Karsa; and her brother, Edward Krusa. She is survived by those who will cherish her memory; her son and daughter, Gregory and Judy Karsa; daughter and son, Sue and Kent Murrmann; grandchildren, Sarah, Christopher, Abigail, Elizabeth and James; and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Brasen, Nicolas and Koen. She was a faithful and lifelong member of the St. Francis Xavier Altar and Rosary Sodality. Virginia died in Blacksburg, Va. Her funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Lake Station, Indiana. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Good Samaritan Hospice and the Virginia Tech Adult Day Care Center for their loving and kind care given to Virginia these last seven months.
