Kanode, Helen Robertson

Helen Lorene Robertson Kanode, 81, of Pulaski, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 2, 1929 in Giles County, and was the daughter of the late Ethel Riddle Robertson and Charlie Alexander Robertson. She was a member of the Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Pulaski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Walter Kanode; a daughter, Wanda Sue Kanode Rutherford; a son, Jerald Kanode; two brothers, Charles Robertson, and Marshall Robertson. She is survived by a sister, Louise R. Johnston of Narrows; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.

Flowers will be appreciated, but for those who wish, they may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church.
