Jones, Rachel Collins

Rachel Collins Jones, 81, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

The daughter of the late James O. and Cora Lane, she was also preceded in death by a son, Edward Collins, and a granddaughter, Michelle Collins.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dora C. and Larry E. Wilson; a son, Michael Collins; grandchildren, Michael Wilson, Jerry Wilson, Darrell Collins, Jennifer Collins and Kimberly Carden; greatgrandchildren, Halyie Wilson and Andrew Wilson; and special friends, Suzzie Williams and Carolyn Hutcherson.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008, at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2008, in the Horne Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jube Burk with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
