Jones, Phyllis Duncan

Phyllis Duncan Jones, 63, of Pulaski, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. She was born in Pulaski, Va., on Mary 29, 1949, and was the daughter of the late Simon Duncan and Laura Phibbs Duncan. She was also preceded in death by brothers, James, Lewis and Kenneth Duncan; and sisters, Sue Duncan and Betty Davidson. She was an employee of Food City, Pulaski. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Tonya Jones, of Pulaski; daughter, Karen Jones, of Dublin; grandchildren, Jason Jones, Kirsten Jones, Adi Jones and Joshua Jones; two great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Barbara Duncan, and Ralph and Marie Duncan, all of Gastonia, N.C.; sister-in-law, Bobbie Duncan, of Dublin; former husband and friend, William Cecil Jones, of Pulaski; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012, from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tom Underwood and the Rev. Dan Lawson officiating.
