Jones, Phillip Mitchell

Phillip Mitchell Jones, 22, of Radford and Blacksburg died Friday, February 13, 2009. He was born in Roanoke, Va. on February 4, 1987 and was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Louise Jones. He is survived by his his mother and stepfather, Margaret Rose and Glenn Bohr, of Blacksburg; father, Warren D. Jones of Roanoke; maternal grandparents, Ed and Hilda Rose of Charleston, S.C.; paternal grandparents, Dale R. and Eleanore Jones, of Falls Church, Va.; sisters and brother-in-law, Emily and Dan Muniz, of Reston, Va. and Vanessa Bohr, of Blacksburg; brother, Nathan Bohr of Japan; aunts and uncles, Ed and Kelly Rose, of Charleston, S.C., Marian and Dan Wilson, of Burke, Va., Diane and Don Blick of St. Benedict, Pa.; cousins, Erin and Carter Rose, Katrina and Travis Wilson, Brittany and Steven Blick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the UVA Fund/UVA Children’s Hospital, Alumni Hall, PO Box 400314, Charlottesville, VA 22904. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
