Jones, Lawrence Cameron

Lawrence Cameron Jones, 50 of Dublin, departed this life suddenly at his home December 13, 2021. Born April 27, 1971 in Radford, VA he was a son of the late Daniel and Hazel Claudine Thornsberry Jones.

Cameron spent his life in faithful service to his country as a Marine Lance Corporal. Later, he would serve as a supervisor at Gatorade, and as a home health aide. Cameron enjoyed the arts, and could be often found drawing, he also enjoyed fishing hunting, and the Virginia Cavaliers.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Latisha “Yoke” Harless, brother, baby boy Jones; and two additional infant siblings.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Daniel Jones, Chad Jones (Kristal), Homer Jones (Jessica), Jamison Jones (Amber), and John Jones; sisters, Parishua Jones, Tamar Jones, Clarinda Thomas, Vivian Seaton (Kevin), Vaundlene Ratcliffe (Joe), and Jutai Mitchell (David); 28 nieces and nephews; and 2 great nephews.

There will be a funeral service conducted Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chadwick D Jones officiating. Funeral services and military honors will be concluded in the Payne Cemetery in Narrows, Virginia. Family would like to welcome all in attendances for a meal after at the Bethel Chapel Fellowship Hall in Clendennin. Family will receive friends in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
