Jones, June Sayers

June Sayers Jones, 82, of Elliston, passed away on March 26, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ellis and Roxie Kingrea Sayers; husband, Elmer Jones; and son, Samuel Clowers. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Bland of Elliston; granddaughter, Ashley Bland of Roanoke; grandson, Stephen Clowers of Richmond; brother and sisters, Violet Coleman of Vinton, Lorraine Bush of Bel Air, MD, Cecille Pettry of Pearisburg, Betty Ratcliffe of Suffolk, Howard Sayers of Columbia, SC, and Carole Fleming of Virginia Beach, VA; as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 30, 2014, from 12-2:30 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, with Pastor Jesse Bass officiating.
