Jones, James Willie

James Willie Jones, 74, of Pearisburg, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his home. Mr. Jones was born in Montgomery County on February 3, 1947 to the late Aubrey Jackson and Lucy Bradford Jones. Along with his parents James is preceded in death by his siblings, Aubrey Jack Jones, Irvin Jones, Minor Jones, Dorothy Noonan and Rachel Allen.

Left to cherish his memory is his best friend and loving caregiver niece, Elsie G. Cline. Also his caregivers, niece, Tammy Kast, nephew, Aubrey Boothe and wife, Lisa. Special thanks to his niece Ruby and husband, Jerry Spurlock for always taking Willie around town to all of his favorite places. Willie is also survived by his siblings, Kelly Jones and Betty Vincil.

A special thank you to all the nieces and nephews who continuously called to check on Willie and to Gene Havens for always being there to help with anything Willie Needed.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. The Burial will follow in the Angels Rest Memory Gardens in Narrows. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of services.
