Johnston, Richard Franklin

Richard Franklin Johnston, 57, of Narrows, departed this life on Thursday, June 9, 2011. Born in Giles County on March 12, 1954, he was a son of the late James Paul and Geneva King Johnston.

He is survived by his son, James Julius Johnston; and his daughter, Shannon Lee Johnston, both of Narrows; and grandchildren, James Franklin Johnston, Christopher Lee Johnston, and Nicole Johnston.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. As Richard had requested, there will be no viewing or visitation time.
