Johnston, Marjorie Louise

Marjorie Louise Johnston, 86, of Dingess Street, Narrows, departed this life Wednesday morning, October 01, 2014 at her home in the loving care of her family and hospice. Born in Pulaski on November 27, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Riddle Robertson.

She was a devoted family person, wife, mother, grandmother and a member of The Church of God of Prophecy in Narrows. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Paul Eugene Johnston, her step-son Robert Riddle, her brothers Charles and Marshall Robertson, and her sister Lorene Kanode.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law Roger and Sandra Johnston of Kingsport, TN; her daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Collier Presson of Wakefield, VA; her grandchildren Melissa Short, Clinton Howard Presson, Anthony Paul Presson; her great-grandchildren Lindsey-Dale Day, Garrick Morris, Brannon Presson, Kennedy Presson, Sydni Presson, Coleman Presson and McKinzie Presson.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 3, 2014, at 2:00 pm in The Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke, with Pastor Jimmy Hagy officiating.
