Johnston, Margaret Faye

Margaret Faye Johnston, 86, of Pearisburg, Va., passed away Friday, April 30, 2010 at Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg. Ms. Johnston was born on July 4, 1923 in Giles County and was a daughter of the late Edd B. Johnston and Mabel Parsell Johnston.

Ms. Johnston was a lifelong member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Trigg, Va.

She is survived by two sisters, Ruth Johnston and Marie Johnston of Pearisburg; several cousins and friends that she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at Givens Funeral Chapel at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Paula Campbell officiating with entombment in the Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends Sunday one hour before the service from 3 to 4 p.m.
