Johnston, Barbara Stephens

Barbara Ann Stephens Johnston, 57, of Eggleston, Va., passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at home with her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Cecil Stephens and Mollie Johnson Stephens.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Jerry W. Johnston; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Tommy Bales, of Pearisburg, Debbie and Eddie Quesenberry, of Dublin; four brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Ellie Stephens, of Radford, Joe and Dolores Freeman, of Radford, Boyd and Rhonda Perdue, of Pulaski, Clay Freeman, of Dublin; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Odell and Nellie Johnston, of Cashmere, W.Va., Carroll Johnston, of Eggleston; many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with the Rev. Dwayne Martin and the Rev. Paula Campbell officiating. Burial in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The visitation will be Monday anytime after 2 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
