Johnson, Otis S.

Otis S. Johnson, 60, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Blacksburg and Christiansburg, Virginia, died on May 7, 2007, at his home.

Mr. Johnson was born on February 1, 1947 in Richlands, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Malissa Boyd; his mother, Ruth Boyd Ratcliffe; his stepfather, D. C. (Ike) Ratcliffe; and his grandson Luke Ravenberg.

Survivors include his daughters, Erika Britt Ravenberg and Ingrid Liv McNulty; grandchildren Emma and Sean Ravenberg and Ciaran McNulty; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mr. Johnson was a member of St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Christiansburg, Virginia. He received his B.A. in English in 1969 and his M. A. in English in 1971, both from Virginia Tech. He taught English at Virginia Tech for several years and then followed a technology career in Orlando.
