Mary Largen Johnson, 85, of Largen Hill Court, Pulaski, died Friday evening Feb. 24, 2006 in the Pulaski Community Hospital. Born in Dublin, Va. December 30, 1920 she was the daughter of the late George Washington Largen and Annielou Rupe Largen. Mary was also preceeded in death by a son, Neal Dewayne Johnson and a brother, James Largen.

She was retired from Hercules, Inc. and a member of the Jordan’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are husband Neal Johnson; daughter and husband Ann and Marvin Dalton and daughter Elizabeth Frances Cox, both of Pulaski; two sisters, Betty Horton and Ruby McGrady, both of Pulaski; one brother George W. Largen, Jr., Pulaski; five grandchildren: Neal Dewayne Johnson, Jr., Lincolnton, N.C., Jeannie and John Southern, Pulaski, Donna Davis, Groveport, OH, Kathy Cox, Lyons, Ga., Tammy and Billy Chapman, Oak Hill, W.Va.; two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Feb. 28, 2006 at 2 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Grimm and the Rev. Jim Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Methodist Church Cemetery. Visiting will be anytime after 4 p.m. Monday with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
