Johnson, Margaret Dianne

Margaret Dianne Johnson, 64, of Christiansburg, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012. She was predeceased by her parents, John W. and Maleta Dow Hairston; and sister, Doris F. Carson. She was a 1966 graduate of Christiansburg Institute. Margaret was employed by Montgomery County, Planning and Inspections office for over 30 years. Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Dianne M. Makki (Ashraf); son, Phillip M. Johnson II; sister, Lucy Hairston; brother, John W. Hairston Jr.; grandchildren, Yasmeena and Ameen Makki; aunts, Doris, Marie, and Laura; uncle, Andrew; one niece and nephew; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2012, at Shaffer Memorial Baptist Church, Christiansburg. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
