Johnson, June Miller

June Johnson, 97, of Pulaski, peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. James Bristol Johnson; mother and father, William and Etta Miller; a sister, Mabel (Charles) Redd; brothers, Walter, Joe Clyde, Cameron (Dorothy), Lloyd and Buford (Lillian) Miller; along with her great-grandchild, Princa Taylor.

She is survived by one sister, Ethel (Brackson) Malette, of Detroit, Mich.; a son and daughter, James Johnson, of Pulaski, Brenda (Rudy) Taylor, of Roanoke. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Juan, Brigit, Autumn, and Emil. Her most precious great-grandchild, Jayana Taylor; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Randolph Avenue Methodist Church, Pulaski. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
