Johnson, Elizabeth Ann

Elizabeth Ann Johnson, 47, of Christiansburg transitioned to rest on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at HCA-Montgomery Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with Lupus.

Elizabeth was born June 15, 1969 in New Haven, CT to Eulalia Johnson Mills and Samuel Dozier. She started her education in the Connecticut school system and later moved to Virginia – graduating from Christiansburg High School. She attended New River Community College and was last employed at Wade’s Supermarket as a Deli Manager until her health failed.

She is survived by children, Ronald Johnson, Chantal Johnson, and Keanu Candler; grandson, Kenyon Greer; sisters, Sheila Johnson and Crystal Mills Brown; brothers Howard Johnson, Richard Dozier, Raymond & Ronald Robbs, Alfred Mills Jr.; Mother, Eulalia Mills; Companion, Robert Candler; Great-great Aunt, Novella McMillan, New Haven, CT; Aunts, Shirley (Richard) Akers, Helen Ferrell, Corelise (Clarence) Sherman; Uncles, James (Vanette) Farrow, Jerry Farrow, Clarence Ferrell; God-mother, Hattie Calfee; Special Friends Kim Eaves, Ebony Robinson, Tina Sherman, Priscilla Wright, Robin Palmer, Anna Bain, Ricky Peoples, Lynnette Jones, Chelsea Collins, Kristie Viney, Tracie Larry, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel.
