Johnson, Earnest Hubert

Earnest Hubert Johnson, age 75, of Peterstown, WV, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Heritage Hall in Rich Creek, VA. Earnest was a retiree from Bland Correctional Center. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his daughter, Pamela J. Smith of Narrows, VA; a granddaughter, MeCalla N. Smith of Atlanta, GA; and several other relatives. He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise S. Sutton of Carrollton, AL; and brother, Kenneth G. Johnson of Andalusia, AL.

There will be a small viewing held for the immediate family and his remains will be carried to Alabama for burial at a later date, where a small service will also be held.
