Johnson, Christopher Brian

Christopher Brian Johnson, 41, of Blacksburg, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012. He was born on July 30, 1971.

He is survived by his daughter, Amber Lane Johnson, of Roanoke; his mother, Pamela Perkinson Johnson; father and stepmother, Jere Lane and Jo Irwin Johnson; sister, Sheri Lane Smith; niece, Delaney Smith; nephew, Sullivan Lane Smith; brother-in-law, Dewayne Smith, of Knoxville, Tenn.; and uncles, Jim Perkinson and wife, Sandy, Don P. Johnson and wife, Gayle, of Massachusetts; and aunt, Sandra McDowell and husband, Vernon, of Christiansburg.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 15, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2012, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Dan Netting officiating.
