Johns, Barbara Charlton

Barbara Charlton Johns, 64, of the 5400 block of Tidewater Dr., Norfolk, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011.Barbara was born in Radford, Va., to the late William Wallace Charlton and Nancy Chambers Charlton. She was a member and mother of Restoration Family Worship Center and a member of the 60 plus club with the Senior Center in Norfolk. She was a very loving person and loved her family, friends and church. She will be missed greatly by all that knew her. She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Logan and husband, Scott, of Gates, N.C., and Tracey Bradley, of Penhook, Va.; five grandchildren, Skyler, Jordan and Kalab Logan, of Gates, N.C., and Christopher Margerum and Kayla Shepherd, of Penhook, Va.; and lifelong best friend, Peggy Sampson and husband, Sammy, of Roanoke, Va. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel where the family will receive friends the hour prior.
