Jewell, Ralph Junior

Ralph Junior Jewell, 65, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2006.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Dillon, Christiansburg; daughters, Diane Reed, Christiansburg, Janet Dowdy, Shawsville; stepdaughters, Brenda Hamlin, Christiansburg, Bernice Elam, Gloucester; brothers, Jessie Jewell, Floyd, Larry Jewell, Dunn, N.C.; sister, Betty Carolyn Jewell, Pearisburg; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Lee Sarver officiating. Interment will follow at Huffville Cemetery, Pilot. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Maberry Funeral Home.
