Jennelle, Beulah Jane

Beulah Jane (Horton) Jennelle, 91, of Radford, was called to heaven on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Beulah was born in Appalachia, Va. on November 30, 1924 to the late Eugenus and Clarissa Horton.

She retired from the United States Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. and then returned to Virginia for her retirement years.

She is survived by her four children, Jimmy Lee (Judy) Horton of Johnson City, Tenn., Lois Jean Gates of Radford, Va., Bennie Merle (Jane) Horton of Galion, Ohio, and Kitty Sue Riggin of New Bern, N.C.; one sister, Johnsie Poole of Christiansburg, Va.; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, Va. with Pastor Brian Cockram officiating.

DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford is in charge of arrangements.
