Danny Janney, 58, of Pulaski, Va., died on Thursday, June 10, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Claudia Janney; and two brothers, Steven and Moses Jr. He is survived by his wife, Sandee R. Janney; two daughters, Deanna of Florida, and Makayla Janney, of Pulaski; two stepchildren, Timothy and Shyanne, of Pulaski; and three grandchildren, Harley, Savanna, and Nicholas. Danny is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, Ethel and Bob Brun, Roger and Ellen Janney, George and Donna Janney, Theresa and Bill Lovern, Patricia and James Trump, Karen Webb, Lisa and Allen Turner, Debbie and Richard Ferris, Sarah and Barry Heslep, and Timothy and Sherri Janney; as well as 17 nephews; 17 nieces; and several great-nephews and nieces. Danny was so full of life and was the life of the family. He kept everybody laughing, was loved dearly and will truly be missed. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buford Linkous and the Rev. Wayne Poston officiating. Burial will follow in the Dublin Town Cemetery, Dublin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McCoy Funeral Home in Danny’s name to assist with funeral expenses. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening, June 15, 2010, at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg, Va., 540-552-3211.
