JAMES, Laura McGuire

Laura McGuire James, 82, of Blacksburg, died Friday, September 29, 2006 in Montgomery Regional Hospital.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry K. James, Jr., Radford; two daughters, Carrie Decker and Gay James, both of Radford; one son, Andrew James, Radford; five sisters, Evelyn Showalter, Roanoke, Dorothy Roberts and Virginia Atkinson, Christiansburg, Judy King, Radford, and Donna Taylor, Dublin.

Three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 2, 2006 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Hickman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2006 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
