Hypes, Margaret Kirtner

Margaret Kirtner Hypes, 83, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, November 1, 2009, at the New River Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Gordon Hypes; her parents, Charles Milton (Mary Ruth) Kirtner; and a brother, John Kirtner.

She is survived by two brothers, Herbert (Faye) Kirtner, of Pilot, and John (Carolyn) Kirtner, of Riner; and three children, daughter, Sue (John) Bowman, of Riner; and sons, Steve (Drew) Hypes, of Scottsboro, Alabama, and Michael (Julia Ann) Hypes, of Morehead, Kentucky.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Tom Bonn presiding.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carilion Hospice, 702 Randolph Street, Suite 210, Radford, Virginia 24141. Interment will follow at the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
