Hylton, Vanessa Dee

Vanessa Dee Hylton, 40, of Riner, Va., passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2008. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Faye Hylton.

Survivors include her son, Anthony Preston Hylton, of Riner; father and stepmother, Louis E. and Betty Hylton, of Floyd; sister and brother-in-law, Suzie and Rick Gibson, of Floyd; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Terri Hylton, of Virginia Beach, Louis A. Hylton, of Floyd, and Simon and Beverly Hylton, of Christiansburg; nieces and nephews, Trisha Gibson, Marissa Hylton, Preston Hylton and Jonathan Hylton; ex-husband, Raymond Neal; and special friend, Drew Crockett.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel in Floyd with the Rev. Marvin Wade and the Rev. Richard Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Topeco Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2008, at Maberry Funeral Home.
