Hylton, James Lloyd

Mr. James Lloyd Hylton, 58, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011, at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, N.C. He was born March 1, 1953, in Floyd County, to the late Ferry Clinton and Elizabeth Andrews Hylton.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hylton was also preceded in death by a sisters, Gaye Hicks and Wilma Mae Hicks; and by a brother, Oscar Junior Hylton.

Surviving are his brothers, Avery Clinton Hylton, Flat Rock, N.C., Jack Allen Hylton, Willis, John Sherman Hylton, Mt. Airy, N.C., Ralph William Hylton, Massey, Md., Larry Hylton, Mt. Airy, N.C.; sisters, Linda Bobbitt, Yadkinville, N.C., Audrey Lamyra Hanes, Pilot Moutain, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Willis, Va by the Rev. Trent Lyons.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woltz Hospice Home, 276 Zephyr Road, Dobson, N.C.
