Hurst, Myrtle Henley

Myrtle Henley Hurst, age 87 of Hiwassee passed away Wednesday, January 14,2009 at the Grayson Nursing Center Independence, VA.

Born November 25, 1921 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Andy & Mary Clark Henley. Her husbands; Jesse Allen Hurst, Clyde Eugene Isom, son; Jack Hurst, son-in-law; Johnny Gravley, and five brothers; Estel, Lewis, Gasper, Bobby and Johnny Ward Henley also preceded her in death. .

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Randall Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Hurst Family Cemetery, Hiwassee.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
