Hurst, Jean Keith
Norma ‘Jean’ Keith Hurst, 83 of Shawsville, passed away on February 18, 2023. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Walter Keith and Hazel Beatrice Atkinson Keith; sons, Rusty Hurst, Ricky Hurst; sister, Geraldine K. MacMackin; brothers, Bubby Keith and Larry Keith; and granddaughter, Crystal Bandy Carico.
She is survived by her children, Pamala H. Bandy, Rodney Hurst (Nikie); sister, Colleen K. Moore; grandchildren, Scott Bandy, Travis Bandy (Brandy), Joshua Bandy (Andrew), Jeanna Hurst, Bubba Hurst (Ashley); and great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Kirstin, Elaina, Trey, Kayden, Opie, Luke, Ollie, Bryson, and Chance.
Jean retired from Rowe Furniture after nearly 35 years.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Sowders Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Lanny Belcher officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Cemetery.
