Rebecca Jane “Rocky” Hughes, 44, of Norris Run, VA died Monday, November 11, 2013 at her home. She was born in Radford, VA on December 30, 1968. She is survived by her husband, Ricky Hughes, Norris Run, VA; mother and father, Dorothy Whittaker and Andrew Edward Smith, Norris Run, VA; Megan Renae Hughes, Blacksburg; sisters, Tammy Smith Hixon, Blacksburg, Anita Smith Cecil, Hiwassee; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 7:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Layne Board officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
