Michael R. Huffman, 43, of Newport, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 13, 2013. He was employed with A1 Heating and Cooling for nine years, and loved his job and his fellow co-workers. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Omi Brickey and Howard and Leona Huffman; and sister Loretta Lynn Huffman. He is survived by loving wife, Alechia Huffman; his precious boys that he thought the world of, Tyler and Mason Huffman; parents, Bobby and Mary Huffman; mother and father-in-law, Joyce and Gary Medley; brother and sister-in-law, Robbie Huffman and wife, Becky; sister Lisa Reed; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Levi Martin; beloved nieces and nephews, Bobby and Amanda Huffman, Miranda and Jessi Reed, Dalton Huffman, and Dillon Martin; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Paitsel Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Hodge officiating. Interment will follow at the Huffman Family Cemetery, Newport.
