Huffman, Frances Morris

Frances Morris Huffman, 93, of Christiansburg, passed away on May 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Sallie Perkins Morris; her husband, Reeves Huffman; and 11 siblings.

She is survived by her children, Curtis Green and wife Ann Alderman, Katie Lovern and husband Wardie, Roger Green, Bruce Jarels and wife Joyce, and Kathy Hodge and husband Carl; special step-son, Eddie Huffman; grandchildren, Robin Ferrel, Wesley Jarels, Kathy Jo Dunford, and Casey Jarels; 11 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; as well as special niece, Karen Mullins.

The family would like to give a special “thank you” to the entire staff at Heritage Hall for all the care and love given to Frances.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 10, 2014, from 10 a.m. -12 noon at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held directly after at noon in the Chapel, with Rev. Tom Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
