Huffman, Barry Norman

Barry Norman Huffman, 67, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Montgomery Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Roanoke County on October 30, 1945. Barry was predeceased by his father, Ernest Huffman; stepmother, Ethel Huffman; mother, Victoria Clark; stepfather, Elbert Clark; brother, Jimmy Huffman; sister, Judy Huffman; brother, Steve Clark; and sister, Doris Moore. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Danny Altizer; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tammy Huffman; his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Lauren (Tadpole) Huffman, Tyler Altizer, Paris Altizer, Tiffany Huffman, Amanda Huffman, and Christina Huffman; a precious great-grandson, Noah; his wife, Nancy; brothers, Don (Lori) Huffman, Tommy (Teresa) Clark, and Danny (Donna) Clark; and sisters, Joyce Blankenship, Brenda Fransisco, and Vickie Whitlow. Barry is also survived by his best friend, Joyce Songer; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank MRH ICU staff for the care of our loved one. We will forever be grateful. In honoring Barry’s wishes, he will be cremated with no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
