Huffman, Amanda Jane

Amanda Jane Huffman, 27 of Newport, Virginia departed this life December 7, 2022 in the care of Princeton Community Hospital. Born on May 3, 1995 in Montgomery County, Virginia; she is a daughter of Robert “Robbie” and Rebecca “Becky” Huffman.

Amanda enjoyed being with her family. This was evident when she would take on her role as caregiver. She enjoyed shopping with her mother and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Amanda is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Grissom, Bud Grissom, and Bobby Huffman; nephew, Alden Huffman; uncles, Michael Huffman, Harvey Keen, and Sonny Grissom; and aunt, Loretta Huffman.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her parents, Robbie and Becky Huffman; son, Bentley Cole Ratcliffe; daughter, Aleigha Hedge; brother, Bobby Huffman (Brittany Bates) of Newport; grandmother, Mary Huffman; aunts, Lisa Reed, and Debbie Keen; uncles, John Grissom, Buddy Grissom, and Danny Grissom; Boyfriend, Kevin Kinley; special friend, Brian Hodge; and many other family members and close friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Kendall Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Kendall Funeral Home. Funeral services will conclude at the Williams Cemetery in Newport, VA.
