Huff, Ada “Jean” Boothe

Ada “Jean” Huff, 74 of Indian Valley, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 6, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents Brady and Alma Boothe; sisters, Thelma Smith, Edna Moles, Estelle Shealor, and Virginia Graham; brother, Brady Boothe, Jr..

Jean spent her life in service to her family, her church and the children of Floyd County through many years of service to Christmas for Children.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joyce Ray Huff; son Danny Huff and wife Crystal; daughters, Vicki Long and husband Dale, Julie Long and husband Daniel; brothers, Jimmy Boothe and wife Betty, Joe Boothe and wife Mary; sisters, Annie Jones, Nancy Bragg, Christine Horton & husband Gary; grandchildren, Thomas Long, Matthew Huff, Dylon Huff, Sarah Long, Lindsey Long.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Agee and Rev. Graham Mitchell officiating with interment to follow in Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
