Hufeisen, Mark Edward

Mark was employed with the Virginia State Parks for 30 years and worked at the New River Trail State Park for the last 20 years where he most recently served as manager. He is survived by a daughter, Caitlin Hufeisen; granddaughter, Aurora Hufeisen, both of Foster Falls, Va.; a sister, Sandy Hufeisen, of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two brothers, Kurt Hufeisen and Jim Hufeisen, both of Ohio; and special friend, Linda Richardson, of Galax, Va. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011, at the Reese Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kent Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Foster Falls Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Virginia State Parks Benevolent Fund, c/o Douthat State Park, 14239 Douthat State Park Road, Millboro, VA 24460-9541.
