Hoyler, Georgia Davis

Georgia Davis Hoyler, 94, of Blacksburg, Va., passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Friendship Health Care Center in Roanoke, Va.

Preceding Georgia in death were her husband, Roy E. Hoyler; brother, Morris E. (Peck) Davis; sisters, Allie Morehead, Bernice (Bunt) Wingo, Lillian Greene, Greta McMahan and Nellie McMahan; stepson, Roy E. Hoyler Jr.; and parents, James P. Davis and Margaret B. Davis.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her stepdaughter, Barbara D. (Abbie) Hoyler; step grandchildren, Jeff Hoyler, Angela Hoyler, Christine Hughes, Melinda Hoyler, Melissa Deen and Julie Royse; a number of great-grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008, from the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor David Ansley of the Blacksburg 1st Church of God officiating. Interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, S.W., Blacksburg, Va.
