Howell, Harold E.

Harold Eugene Howell, 76, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 5, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Dorthy Howell; his daughters, Debbie and Randy Vest, of Christiansburg, Pam and Jack Haas, of Cleveland, Ga., Judy and Fred Moody, of Roanoke, and Dana and Blake Anderson, of Sarasota, Fla.; his grandchildren, David and Mark Vest, Jason, Jeremy, Justin Haas, Scott and Victoria Anderson; his four great- granddaughters; and two great-grandsons. Harold was a loving husband, father and Paw. He was a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene. Dad loved listening and attending gospel singing and watching his teams, Ohio State and Virginia Tech, play. One of his favorite times was spent with family and grandkids. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 9, 2012, from 11a.m. to noon at Horne Funeral Home & Crematory, with the Funeral Service to be held at noon in the chapel. Pastor Rick Bailey will officiate the service and entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
