Howell, Edward Lee

Edward Lee Howell, 74, of Riner, passed away on Saturday, June, 25, 2016. Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar M. Howell and Margaret K. Phillips; his son, Dennis Howell and, his brother Phillip W. Howell.

Lee is survived by his sister; Judy Ann Howell Altizer, favorite niece; Sandra D. Altizer, and special aunt; Leona K. Reed.

Lee was retired from the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division. 25 years of service to our country including 4 tours of duty in Vietnam. Highly decorated solider to include the bronze medal; he will be sorely missed by his Sis.

There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, June, 29 2016 at the Southwest Virginia Veteran Cemetery in Dublin.
