Darlene Kay Howell, 49, of Christiansburg, Va. passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at her home. Born May 31, 1961 at Pearisburg, Va., she was the daughter of Myra Cooper Lucas of Narrows, Va. and the late Billy Lucas, Sr. In addition to her mother, Darlene is survived by her fiancé of 24 years, Timothy Criner; three daughters, Jessica Miller and husband, Shawn, of Peterstown, Tabitha and Amanda Howell, both of Christiansburg, Va.; 11 grandchildren, three brothers, and four sisters. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, W.Va., with Pastor Randy Jarrells officiating. Burial will follow at the Angels Rest Cemetery, Narrows, Va. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the funeral home.
