Howard, Peggy Franklin

Peggy Franklin Howard, age 80, of Check, Va. died, Thursday, June 29, 2023. She was born in Radford, Va. on December 30, 1942 to the late Robert Geoffery and Mary Freeman Franklin. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Geoffery Franklin, Jr. She was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Frank A. (Peachy) Howard, son, Steven Todd Hughes and Carrie, granddaughter, Erica, great-grandson, Kaden, sisters, Janice Akers, Diane Ferguson, sisters-in-law, Evelyn Still, Mary Adkins, Hazel Johnson, brother-in-law, Marvin Howard, special niece, Bonnie Adkins, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 3:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel.
