Howard, Mildred Thomas

Mildred Thomas Howard, age 85 of Pulaski passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in the Commonwealth Assisted Living at Radford. Born June 6, 1929 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Mason Eugene Thomas and Thelma Mae Whitaker Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Edward Howard; son, Dennis Howard, and daughter, Earlene Robbins and son-in-law, Swanson Stout.

She was a retired coordinator for the Agency on Aging.

Surviving- Daughter- Patricia “Pat” Stout-Dublin. Grandchildren – Amy and Gary Wayne Blankenship-Dublin, Michael and Angela Myers-Floyd, Crystal Howard, Stacey and Chris Utt.

Four special Great Grandchildren which were the “sunshine of her life”- Taryn and Jaci Blankenship & Trevan and Kaylee Myers.

Special Sister- Linda Richards-Burlington-N.C.

Brother- Tommy Thomas-Dublin.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 A.M., July 12, 2014 in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin with Rev. Frank Peters officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
