Barbara Jean “Eassie” Hoston, 72 of Pembroke, went to be with Jesus on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Eassie was born in Giles County to the late Randolph Hoston and Marie King Hoston Saunders. Besides her parents Eassie is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary L. Chapman, Dorothy House and Phyllis Hoston.

Eassie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pembroke. She loved her Lord, family, church and her gospel music.

Eassie is survived by her sisters, Mozella Dickerson and Elizabeth Hoston both of Pembroke., Step-Father, Nelson Saunders of Pembroke., Nieces and Nephews, Dedra Anderson of Blacksburg, Jerry Anderson and wife, Lora of Charlottesville, Consuella Hoston, Reggie Hoston, Randy Chapman, Ronald Chapman, Donald Chapman and Tim Chapman all of Pembroke., Brother-In-Law, Jimmy Chapman of Pearisburg and Sister-In-Law, Mary Alice of Abington. Eassie is also survived by her special friends, Rev. Marcus Harrison and Rev. Marcus Turner and a host of cousins and a lot of friends.

The family would like to thank Highland Nursing and Rehab & Roanoke Memorial Hospital for their care and support for Eassie.

A Homegoing service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marcus Harrison, Rev. Marcus Turner and Rev. Dedra Anderson officiating. A burial will follow in the Horseshoe Cemetery in Pembroke.
