Hosey, Earnest Cecil

Earnest Cecil Hosey, 64, of Riner, Va., was called home on Thursday, September 24, 2009. He was born on May 28, 1945. He was preceded in death by his father, Porter; his brothers, Charles and Ronald Hosey; and sister, Delilah Kingrea.

He is survived by his wife, Jovita; mother, Flossie; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Tina Hosey; son, Douglas Hosey; grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew, Caleb, Amber, Savannah and Allison Hosey; brother-in-law and wife, Glenn and Phyllis Harris; sister-in-law and husband, Sandra and James Bane; brothers, Ira and Emmett Hosey; half brother, Harless Hosey; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 26, 2009, from noon until 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday at Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, Va.
